Answer (1 of 5): The answer depends on what you consider ‘worth it’. If you’re new to programming, you’ll have to take some time learning Lua, which is Roblox Studio’s chosen scripting language, and that shouldn’t be a problem as Lua is fairly easy and has a beginner-friendly code syntax.

There really isn't a problem with being a small developer on ROBLOX if you want to get yourself past the mess that is the entire site right now, its just up to you to get the game exposed, and make it decent. And FYI, Criticism, Fair or unfair, is a certainty. Now how you deal with it can make or break you as a game creator on ROBLOX.

Only when people play a game does it have worth, and people are required to play your game. You can make, publish, and sell a game by yourself, but you cannot make it successful on your own. Acknowledge, reach out, and get to know your audience. Learn what they like, what they dislike, and build up a good rapport with them. Especially in indie games, your audience are your stockholders. You never burn your stockholders.
